Training and development is a key strategic imperative for CGIS’ ongoing success. For onboarding new employees, an individual comprehensive program is developed to ensure they receive everything they need to be successful from the start. Annual developmental plans for all staff are done to identify what is needed and training is offered in many different forms to meet those needs. We also invest time to create opportunities for employees to work in different branches and markets to broaden their exposure and knowledge.
CG University (CGU), launched in April 2015, is CGIS’ new e-learning platform. This internal university includes both technical and non-technical courses and resources to assist staff throughout their careers to grow and develop. CGU is our internal resource for knowledge acquisition. It is an in-house library of reference and information to assist people across the organization in the work they do every day, in their careers to build a bright future with us and to create great business people to care for CGIS and its customers.
