CGIS is a proud distributor of ADAMS Valves in Canada. These German quality rotary, isolation, and check valves are engineered for a large array of applications. The ADAMS triple eccentric or triple offset valve design uses an “inclined conical metal sealing system” to reduce fugitive emissions. This design makes it a great option for applications that work with extreme temperatures, hazardous, and other corrosive substances.
The ADAMS metal laminated seat is made up of metal and graphite. The metal, stainless steel with an alloy of titanium, gives it spring, elasticity, and memory. The laminations on the torque seated design create an extremely tight shut-off for zero-leakage. ADAMS moved these laminations from the disc to the protected position on the seat, making them last far longer in service than they did on the original patent.
Ni-Resist BearingsNi-Resist bearings support the stem, both top, and bottom. They are designed to never need maintenance or lubrication – operating perfectly for the life of the valve.
