CGIS would like to welcome Cyrille Chiwanza as our new Shipper/Receiver. He will be joining our team in our Edmonton location.

CGIS would like to welcome Cory Kapty to our growing service team at our Edmonton warehouse. He will be joining the team as a Service Technician.


October

Due to an expansion in the sales team, CGIS Calgary is moving to a larger office at new location in the Southeast end of Calgary. CGIS will be in the new space come October 15th.


September

CGIS would like to welcome Jose Sarmiento to our team in Vancouver. Jose will join us as our new Valve Technician.

CGIS would like to welcome Morgaine Charman as our interim Marketing Coordinator.  Morgaine will be filling in for Esther while she is on maternity leave and will be working out of the Vancouver office.

CGIS would like to welcome Rob Cohoe to our growing sales team. Rob will take on the role of Outside Sales Representative. Rob will be working out of our Calgary office and traveling to Fort McMurray on a regular basis.

CGIS would like to welcome Tiffany Lin to our growing accounting team in Vancouver. Tiffany will take on the role of Senior Accounts Receivable and is joining us on September 26th.

CGIS would like to welcome Bob Haidish as our new Outside Sales Representative for the Vancouver region. Bob will join us on September 12th.

Mr. Ross Waters, President and CEO of CG Industrial Specialties Ltd., has been chosen as a finalist for Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur Of The Year 2011 Pacific award in the B2B category for British Columbia. Ross is one of three finalists to be recognized for his contribution, talent and achievements. The winner will be announced at Ernst & Young's gala dinner in early October. The winner in each category will then go on to compete nationally.

CGIS would like to welcome Leisa Radford to our Edmonton office. Leisa joins our expanding Inside Sales team as the new Inside Sales Representative - Control Valves.  Leisa will join us on August 2nd.


CGIS would like to welcome Susan Stokes to our Vancouver office. Susan is our new Accounting Assistant / Receptionist and will join us on July 11th.
 

April

CGIS Prince George received an order from Spectra Energy for a 20" Class 600 Hy-Grade check valve for Gas Treating Outlet installation. The existing valve in service was causing significant pressure drop and to ensure process and system efficiency, Spectra Energy requested sizing and flow testing of the Hy-Grade check valve. Spectra Energy required the new valve to provide a Cv of greater than 3,000 to 5,000 and a pressure drop of less than 10 psig, which it does. The valve has been flow tested and delivered to site in March 2011 and will be installed in June 2011.

CGIS would like to welcome Dave Diewold as our new Outside Sales Representative for the Saskatchewan Region. Dave will join us on April 4th.

CGIS would like to welcome Ludwig Lagayan to our Vancouver office. Ludwig is our new A/R Accounting Assistant and will join us on February 24th.

CGIS would like to welcome Travis Krayetski to our Edmonton office. Travis joins our expanding Inside Sales team as the new Inside Sales Representative.
