CG Industrial Specialties Ltd. (CGIS) is awarded the largest single order in our history from a world class nickel producing consortium for a massive project in Africa. CGIS' proven success in some of the toughest applications in the world in similar processes was a key element of the order. Several hundred Delta guided shear gate valves, from 6" through 40", in Duplex and Hastelloy will be automated in our Edmonton facility using StoneL and Numatics switches and pilot solenoids; taking over 3,000 hours to complete.

CGIS expands our territory into Russia. This Delta slurry knife gate is the first installation in Russia in the world's largest aluminium company's ferro silicium circuit. Many more will shortly be installed in the largest country in the world throughout it's massive mining industry. CGIS teamed up with a Canadian partner who opened a sales and service centre in Irkutsk, Siberia to service this important sector.
